DAY 1: VIENTIANE ARRIVAL

Arrival airport, our guide and driver will welcome you with your name on signboard at the airport and drive you to the hotel.

The rest of the day is free at leisure.

DAY2: VIENTIANE CITY TOUR - BUDDHA PARKV (B)

After breakfast, take a tour of Vientiane's major sights, starting with the oldest temple, Wat Sisaket, known for its thousands of miniature Buddha statues.

Explore the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, renowned for housing the famous Emerald Buddha Image.

En route to the sacred That Luang Stupa, pause to photograph the impressive Patuxay Monument, often referred to as Vientiane's Arc de Triomphe.

In the afternoon, transfer to the Buddha Park, a mesmerizing collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures scattered along the Mekong Riverside meadow.

Marvel at approximately 200 religious images dating back over 500 years, created by a mysterious monk sharing his philosophy on life and the universe.

Conclude the day with a breathtaking sunset view over the Mekong River, a serene finale to your exploration of Vientiane's cultural and natural treasures.

DAY 3: VIENTIANE - LUANG PRABANG (B)

Begin the day with a visit to the National Museum (closed on Tuesday), formerly known as the Revolutionary Museum. This museum showcases artefacts, photos, and narratives of Laos's historical fighters and leaders from ancient times to the revolutionary period.

Next, board a short flight to Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage City, acclaimed as one of the best-preserved traditional cities in Southeast Asia, boasting tranquillity, charm, and splendid natural scenery.

Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, transfer to your hotel and rest briefly.

Take a leisurely stroll through the Night Market, featuring a delightful selection of textiles crafted by local artisans and hill tribe communities.

Ascend Mount Phousi to explore its sacred, gilded stupa and savour panoramic views of the city and surrounding landscapes.

Immerse yourself in the serene ambience and cultural richness of Luang Prabang, setting the stage for an unforgettable exploration of this enchanting destination.

DAY 4: LUANG PRABANG - PAKOU CAVES (B)

Following breakfast, embark on a short guided tour. Begin with a visit to the city's oldest temple, the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun. Then, visit the shrines of Wat Aham, Wat Mai, Wat Sene, and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, which showcases classical Laotian architecture with its sweeping low roofs.

Board a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which offers panoramic views of the tranquil countryside and an intriguing visit to the mystical Pak Ou Caves, home to thousands of gold-lacquered Buddha statues left by pilgrims.

En route, stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, renowned for its local rice wine production.

Pass by local villages at Ban Xiengmene and Ban Chan before visiting the royal temple at Wat Longkhoun, once patronized by a royal family near the Sackarine Caves.

Return to the city and drive to Ban Phanom, a village renowned for its traditional hand-weaving techniques.

DAY 5: LUANG PRABANG - DEPARTURE (B)

Optionally, start your day early to partake in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting Alms (sticky rice) from devout residents, a unique tradition preserved only in Laos and a highlight of the tour.

Following breakfast, visit The National Museum (closed on Tuesday), which is housed in the former Royal Palace and showcases a rich collection of artefacts spanning from the early kings to the last sovereign, reflecting the richness of Lao culture.

Explore the silver smith's and Fine Arts School, offering insights into traditional craftsmanship.

Don't miss a visit to the Central Market, which is bustling with activity and offers a glimpse into daily life in Luang Prabang.

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight, bidding farewell to this charming city enriched with cultural treasures and spiritual traditions.
