Traveling to Cu Chi Tunnels is an experience of exploring the "underground maze" - one of the famous national monuments in Saigon. Originally known as Tay Do - the capital of the Southwest region more than a hundred years ago, Can Tho is one of the most attractive destinations in the South. Despite the rapid economic development, Can Tho still retains the typical cultural features of the river region.

DAY 1: HOCHIMINH ARRIVAL – CU CHI TUNNELS (B, Dinner Cruise)

Upon arrival, Our guide & driver pick you up at Tan Son Nhat International airport and transfer to city center.

Check in time is 14.00. Early check in subject to availability with surcharge.

Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.

Back to Ho Chi Minh city for visit to Cho Lon (Big Market) and Thien Hau Pagoda which is located in China Town

Return to hotel. Enjoy Dinner cruise on Indochina Queen cruise.

DAY 2: HOCHIMINH – CAIBE – ANBINH – CANTHO (B,L)

6:30-7:00 Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city. Depart for Cai Be via Trung Luong Expressway. On arrival in Cai Be, set off for the Cai Be floating market by sampan and watch the locals trading fruit and many other commodities on their vessels. Visit a small family business to see how coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn are made. Then wander in small villages, visit fruit plantations, accompanied by traditional southern Vietnamese folk music.

Afterwards, paddling through a series of small canals to experience the charm of the Upper Mekong Delta, where you can enjoy yourself with the nature. Lunch time is a good chance to get closer with the local and you will learn how to prepare special Vietnamese dishes. Food is cooked by yourself, and fresh river food is served in the heart of the garden.

Cycle in the village path through orchards. Meet the local islanders to learn more about the local daily life in the Mekong Delta. Transfer to Can Tho to check in hotel. In the evening, free time to begin a city tour on lovely electric car to visit Old Market, Ong Pagoda, Ninh Kieu Quay, Food Street.

Overnight in Can Tho.

DAY 3: CANTHO – CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET - HOCHIMINH (B,L)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Take a leisure boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River (Bassac River) then visit to Cai Rang floating market which is the liveliest one in the whole of region.

Walking trip to visit the fruit plantation and local noodle factory.

Visit Binh Thuy communal house and Munir Ansay Pagoda - a Khmer pagoda, renowned for its unique structure.

Return and overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

DAY 4: HOCHIMINH – PHUQUOC ISLAND (B)

Breakfast at the Hotel. Transfer to the airport for your short flight to Phu Quoc island, well-known for its amazing landscapes of rubber plantation, pepper farms, palm fringed and white sandy beaches. This largest island of Vietnam is made from nearly 30 islands; most of them has yet to be planned for development. In Phu Quoc, you can find the history, the beach town’s vibrancy & fun, a lots of exciting water activities, mouth-watering foods and much more.

Upon arrival, welcomed and transferred to your beach resort. On the way enjoy fresh cool air. Check-in your room and enjoy the remainder of day for beach rest & relax.

Overnight in PhuQuoc.

DAY 5: PHU QUOC ISLAND (B)

Enjoy your free day, relax on the beach, and indulge in a myriad of exhilarating and leisurely activities. Overnight in Phu Quoc.

DAY 6: PHU QUOC – HOCHIMINH DEPARTURE (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure until your private vehicle (no guide) will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to Phu Quoc Airport. Once you reach Tan Son Nhat airport, continue to take departure flight back home.
