DAY 1: HANOI – SAPA BY BUS WITH A SHORT TREK TO CAT CAT VILLAGE (L, D)

6:00 – 6:30: Picking up from the hotel in the old quarter or bus station, get on the sleeping bus and depart to Sapa.

7:30 – 11:45: Following the Highway to Lao Cai City with the comfort break

11:45 – 13.15: Bus on the mountain road approaching Sapa Town. On the way you can see the beautiful view, the valley with terraces field.

13:15 - 13:30: Arrive in Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of Hmong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic People. Welcome drink and itinerary briefing. Enjoy the lunch with local Vietnamese dishes, check-in procedures

14:30: A short walk to Cat Cat Village which is home to Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trekking down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station, a short time for a photo with the bridge and the waterfall then you will trekking uphill to get back to Sapa with very beautiful scenery in the late afternoon. Driver pick up back to Sapa

17:00: Back to Sapa Town. Have dinner and overnight at the hotel with night activities. The trekking distance is about 2.5 km and it lasts for 2 hours

Day 2: SAPA DISCOVERY WITH A LONG TREK Y LINH HO - LAO CHAI - TA VAN VILLAGE (B, L, D)

7:00 – 7:45: Have breakfast at the hotel and prepare a light pack for the long trek of 5 km

8:00: A short drive to Y Linh Ho then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain then trek to Ta Van Village - home of Dzay ethnic people. The trekking distance is about 9 km and it lasts for 4 hours

11:30: The bus will pick you up at Ta Van Bridge to Sapa.

Noon to the Evening: Have lunch and enjoy free time in the afternoon to discover Sapa town by yourself. Have dinner and overnight in a hotel.

DAY 3: SAPA – BAC HA MARKET - LAO CAI- HANOI (B, L)

6:15 – 7:00: Have breakfast at the hotel and prepare all your luggage, check out for Bac Ha Market

7:00 – 13:00: Take a 2.5-hour drive to Bac Ha Town – home of Flower H’Mong ethnic People

Visit Bac Ha Market – the most typical weekly market with inhabitants of lots of Ethnic People.

Have lunch at a local restaurant

A short walk to Hoang A Tuong’s Palace which was built in 1914 with French–Viet architecture and visit the “Pho” village of Flower H’Mong People. The trekking distance is about 4 km and it lasts for 2 hours

13:00: Take a 1.45-hour drive back to Lao Cai City.

15:00: You are welcome to shuttle the bus back to Hanoi with one comfort break.

20:30 -21:00: We say goodbye to you at the bus stop. Trip ends

CHILDREN POLICY
  • Children under 5 years old (or under 1m high): Free of charge based on 2 adults and 1 kid sharing bed/ berth/ bus with adult
  • Children from 5 – 8 years old: charge 75% adult price, sharing a bed with an adult
  • Children from 9 years old and above: charge as adult price
NOTE
  • When you come back to Lao Cai city If you want to visit somewhere, the transport fee is paid by yourself
  • You can join this tour even if you depart for Sapa on Saturday with the same tour price.
  • Old people should not attend the long trek (9 km) due to its challenge and danger in case of rain
  • Handicapped people and children under 6 years old should not attend this tour
  • Homestay is different from hotel due to its basic and simple facilities

  • Surcharge will be applied to travelers on national holidays. 
THING TO BRING
  • Warm clothes, scarf, hat, and cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March
  • Due to the altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February, and March.
  • Trekking shoes, sunglasses, sun cream, and insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because the banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollars, euros, and Australian dollars are accepted in Sapa.
  • You should take medicine with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick.
