DAY 1: (Depart on Saturday) HANOI – SAPA BY BUS WITH SHORT TREK TO CA CAT VILLAGE (L, D)

6:00 – 6:30: Picking up from the hotel in the old quarter or bus station, get on the sleeping bus and depart to Sapa.

7:30 – 11:45: Following the Highway to Lao Cai City with the comfortable break

11:45 – 13.15: Bus on the mountain road approaching Sapa Town. On the way you can see the beautiful view, the valley with terraces field.

13:15 - 13:30: Arrive in Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of Hmong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic People. Welcome drink and itinerary briefing. Enjoy the lunch with local Vietnamese dishes, and check-in procedures.

14:30: A short walk to Cat Cat village which is home to Black Hmong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trekking down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station, a short time for a photo with bridge and the waterfall then you will trekking up hill to get back to Sapa with very beautiful scenery in the late afternoon. Driver pick up back to Sapa

17:00: Back to Sapa Town. Have dinner and overnight at the hotel with night activities. The trekking distance is about 2.5 km and it lasts for 2 hours

DAY 2: SAPA - BAC HA MARKET - LAO CAI - HANOI (B, L)

6:15 – 7:00: Have breakfast at the hotel and prepare all your luggage and check out for Bac Ha market

7:00 – 13:00: Take 2.5 hours drive to Bac Ha Town – home of Flower H’Mong ethnic People

Visit Bac Ha market – the most typical weekly market with inhabitants of lots of Ethnic People.

Have lunch at a local restaurant

A short walk to Hoang A Tuong’s palace which was built in 1914 with French – Viet architecture and visit the “Pho” village of Flower H’Mong People.

The trekking distance is about 3 km and it lasts for 2 hours

13:00: Take 1.45-hour drive back to Lao Cai city, (Do not come back to Sapa town)

15:00: You are welcome to shuttle the bus back to Hanoi with comfort breaks.

20:30 – 21:00: We say goodbye to you at the bus stop. Trip ends

CHILDREN POLICY

  • Children under 5 years old (or under 1m high): Free of charge based on 2 adults and 1 kid sharing bed/ berth/ bus with adult
  • Children from 5 – 8 years old: charge 75% adult price, sharing bed/berth with adult
  • Children from 9 years old and above: charge as adult price

SURCHARGE POLICY

  • Surcharge will be applied to travel on national holidays.

THING TO BRING

  • Warm clothes, scarf, hat, and cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March.
  • Due to the altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February, and March.
  • Trekking shoes, sunglasses, sun cream, and insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because the banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollars, euros, and Australian dollars are accepted in Sapa.
  • You should take medicine with you although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick.
  • Homestay’s facilities are not as in hotel in Sapa.
