Weather

The natural sight of Mai Chau changes constantly during Summer. May and June are the seasons of ripe grain, and the yellow color of ripe paddy fields covers the alley. July is the season of pouring water when the local collects water for the rice sowing season. From August to October is the best time to travel to Mai Chau and enjoy the chilly weather of Autumn with some sunlight on the fields. The culture of Mai Chau district is the interference of Thai, Muong and Mong ethnicities. The most remarkable image in the market is the Mong’s colorful fabric weaving from linen, drawing with beeswax and making indigo dyed.
