SAIGON – CU CHI – CAO DAI – MEKONG DELTA
Saigon, officially known as Ho Chi Minh City, pulsates with energy as Vietnam's largest metropolis. It's a dynamic blend of tradition and modernity, boasting bustling streets, historic landmarks like the War Remnants Museum, and vibrant markets like Ben Thanh. Visitors can savor delicious street food, explore colonial architecture, and immerse themselves in the city's rich history.
Venturing out from Saigon, Cu Chi tunnels offer a poignant glimpse into Vietnam's wartime past. These intricate underground passages served as a crucial base for the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War, showcasing their resilience and ingenuity.
Nearby, the Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh Province stands as a testament to the unique fusion of religion in Vietnam. This colorful, ornate temple is the center of the Cao Dai religion, blending elements of Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism, and Confucianism.
Finally, the Mekong Delta, aptly called the "Rice Bowl" of Vietnam, is a lush expanse of waterways, rice paddies, and floating markets.
