Trang An Landscape Complex
Being the most famous tourist destination of Ninh Binh, Trang An has beautiful primitive natural scenery, Trang An Ninh Binh has been recorded by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The heritage complex includes Trang An – Tam Coc – Bich Dong scenic complex – Hoa Lu ancient capital – Hoa Lu special-use forest. Trang An is built up from meandering rivers flowing through limestone mountains, creating countless magical and mysterious natural caves. A boat ride through the rivers and lakes of Trang An to admire the scenery and the beauty of the landscape is highly recommended. Mua Cave Viewpoint

Bai Dinh Pagoda
Bai Dinh Pagoda is an enormous complex and the largest Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia. The pagoda was established as the one with the largest gilded bronze Buddha in Asia, the temple with the longest Arhat corridor in Asia and the largest bronze Maitreya statue in Southeast Asia. The architecture of the new pagoda area stands out with large, monumental blocks bearing the imprint of Vietnamese architecture such as using main local materials (Ninh Binh green stone, Tu Thiet wood), dark brown Bat Trang glazed tiles, etc. The most distinctive thing in the architecture of Bai Dinh Pagoda is reflected in the dark brown arched dome shaped like a phoenix’s tail. As a Buddhist centre, the Bai Dinh Pagoda area is the place where many major cultural and political events take place and the most significant one is the Bai Dinh Pagoda Festival, a spring festival that begins from the afternoon of the 1st of the Lunar New Year, opening on the 6th of the New Year and lasting until the end of March, starting the pilgrimage festival to the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh. With an age of more than 1000 years, the pagoda’s architecture has bold ancient beauty features from ancient times. Although there is the appearance of a new temple complex, which is designed and built monumentally and massively, it is still in harmony with the traditional identity.
