Vietnam Honored as the “Best Golf Destination in Asia 2025

On November 13, the World Golf Awards—one of the most prestigious global awards in the golf industry—announced that Vietnam has been voted the Best Golf Destination in Asia in 2025. This marks the 9th consecutive year Vietnam has received this distinguished international title.

A Leading Golf Destination in Asia

Vietnam currently has more than 80 international-standard golf courses across all three regions. Major golf hubs include Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City, and Lam Dong. Many courses were designed by world-famous golf legends such as Greg Norman, Nick Faldo, and Luke Donald, creating strong appeal for international golfers and visitors.

Golf Tourism: A High-Value Economic Sector

Golf tourism is considered a high-value industry in Vietnam. It creates jobs, contributes to the national budget, and supports associated sectors such as aviation, hospitality, sports, resort real estate, and retail. To strengthen development, Vietnam aims to improve policies, invest in modern infrastructure, and build training programs to develop a professional golf tourism workforce that meets international standards.
