Tuyen Quang Showcases Its Rich Heritage at the “Land of Heritage” Exhibition

On October 29, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Museum opened a special exhibition titled “Tuyen Quang – The Land of Heritage” to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23). The event also marked a proud milestone — the recognition of Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, Tuyen Quang, Vietnam as Asia’s Leading Cultural Destination 2025, awarded by the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism).

The opening ceremony welcomed representatives from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Border Guard Command, and several local schools.

A Celebration of Culture and History

The exhibition runs from October 29 to December 30, 2025, at the museum’s Special Exhibition Hall (Branch 2, Ha Giang 1 Ward).
It features more than 120 documentary and artistic photographs, divided into three main themes:

1. Historical and Cultural Relics – highlighting Tuyen Quang’s significant landmarks and heritage sites.

2. Intangible Cultural Heritage and National Treasures – showcasing local traditions, crafts, and cultural expressions.

3. Cultural Heritage and Tourism Potential – presenting how the province’s unique culture supports sustainable tourism development.

Visitors can also explore a display of artifacts and cultural objects, as well as documentary films about Tuyen Quang’s diverse heritage.

Promoting Cultural Diversity and Unity

By introducing the heritage of various ethnic groups and regions, the exhibition celebrates the unity in diversity that defines Vietnamese culture. It encourages cultural exchange, mutual understanding, and respect among communities, while promoting the preservation and continuation of local traditions.

This initiative reinforces Tuyen Quang’s commitment to preserving its cultural identity and sharing it with both domestic and international visitors.
