The aircraft departed from Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 3:20 PM and landed at Long Thanh International Airport at 4:00 PM on the same day.

According to the plan:

• Vietnam Airlines will operate a Boeing 787 flight departing from Noi Bai International Airport at 6:15 AM, carrying senior government leaders and officials, and landing at Long Thanh at 8:00 AM
• Bamboo Airways and Vietjet Air will use A320/A321 aircraft, departing from Tan Son Nhat Airport at 8:00 AM, transporting flight crews and technical staff, and landing at Long Thanh at 8:40 AM

These three flights will officially mark the grand opening of Vietnam’s largest airport.

Ensuring Safety and Seamless Operations

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has instructed airlines to:

• Closely coordinate with Long Thanh International Airport operators
• Finalize flight operation plans and runway usage
• Ensure proper allocation of aircraft, flight crews, and technical staff
