International Tourists Deeply Impressed by “Vang Mai Khuc Khai Hoan” Exhibition at Hoa Lo Prison

HANOI – On the occasion of the 71st anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day, the Hoa Lo Prison Relic Site is hosting a special exhibition titled “Vang Mai Khuc Khai Hoan” (Eternal Song of Triumph). The exhibition has drawn thousands of local and international visitors eager to explore the capital’s heroic history and the spirit of resilience that defines the Vietnamese people.

1. Unyielding Spirit – Revisits December 1946, when Hanoi’s army and citizens responded to President Ho Chi Minh’s Call for National Resistance, marking the beginning of the long struggle against French colonial forces.

2. Hanoi – The Day of Victory – Presents rare documents and photos from the period after the Geneva Agreement, when Hanoi was under French control for 80 days. Despite the enemy’s sabotage and propaganda, the city remained united and steadfast.

3. Hanoi’s Charm and Vitality – Celebrates modern-day Hanoi, a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. The displays highlight cultural heritage, traditional craft villages, and the city’s elegant yet dynamic lifestyle.
