A city in the midst of the fog – Sapa

Fansipan mountain

Reaching the legendary Fansipan peak, you will be immersed in white clouds and magical mist like living in paradise. Visitors can choose to move to Fansipan Peak in two different ways. And for those with deficient health and want to enjoy the beautiful scenery on top of the mountain on the same day, then the best option is using the cable car and it only takes about 15 minutes to reach the top, a safer and faster way to travel suitable for all ages. Located on top of Fansipan is Kim Son Bao Thang Pagoda, a pagoda hidden in the clouds and mist, full of mystery and sacredness. The architecture of the pagoda is as if carved into the same mountain shape, undulating up and down naturally like a built-in part of the mountains and hills. The most impressive feature of Kim Son Bao Thang Pagoda is the 13m high Amitabha Buddha statue on a 6m high lotus platform. Cat Cat Village
To discover the daily life of H’Mong people – a minority ethnic group of People in Vietnam – arriving at Cat Cat Village will not disappoint you with the diversity of stalls, beautiful perspectives of people wearing cultural clothes, water wheels, and wooden stilt houses around the village. The asphalt road is easy to walk along to the village. To admire the scenery, take pictures under the Cat Cat waterfall, or the majestic terraces, trekking is the way for a “beauty-hunt” experience. Try wearing the traditional costumes of the Sapa people once with handmade brocade patterns on the clothes and taking pretty pictures wearing them to express the adoration for the beauty of the H’Mong people. Cat Cat village is surrounded by mountains and forests, in the middle of the village is a babble and poetic stream. Walking around Cat Cat village, you will see H’Mong girls sitting weaving, embroidering, and sewing. You will have the opportunity to admire the beautiful terraced fields or engross yourself in the fields of colorful flowers, giving you a peaceful feeling here. Penetrate the village, there are plenty of market stalls selling eye-catching handcrafted products such as brocade, wicker baskets and houseware, fresh victuals, and cooked food based on personal shopping choice.
Silver Waterfall
Silver Waterfall also known as Love Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall with white water flows not tinged with mud, Silver Waterfall always brings a lovely beauty with white bubbles, flowing from a height of 100m down to the valley of O Quy Ho pass, creating captivating sounds. A rustic Northwest with the green of mountains and forests observing from afar, the waterfall looks like a soft silk strip, standing out among the green vegetation like a fairy tale scene. With majestic natural scenery and picturesque skies, visitors coming here should not miss taking beautiful photos at sunset to fully capture the beauty of this place. Some interesting activities at Thac Bac are camping, fishing, and taking photos with H’Mong girls in their traditional costumes. Not only the waterfall, but this place has many other stunning destinations to visit and enjoy the view. Following the water, downstream is the O Quy Ho pass, with vertical, dangerous bends for those who love adventure, with poetic and charming scenery from above covered with dense clouds. Visiting Silver Waterfall, visitors will also be attracted by the Sapa Heaven Gate. Sapa Heaven Gate located on O Quy Ho Pass is considered the most beautiful place to watch the sunset in the Northwest. Not only domestic tourists but foreign tourists also come to Sapa Heaven Gate to admire the beauty of the Sapa mountains and forests from an altitude of 2000m above sea level. Going down the Silver Waterfall, you will reach Sapa Valley, one of the places that resembles a “paradise on earth” hidden behind a layer of fog.
