Then soak up the culture and history at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, an 11th century archaeological site, the famous Temple of Literature and tale a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter, ending your day with a water puppet show.

Hochiminh Mausoleum is the final resting place of Hochiminh in a glass sarcophagus set deep in the bowels of a monumental edifice that has become a site of Pilgrimage (It is closed on Monday and Friday and for the period from September until end of November for maintenance)
Not far from the museum, there is One Pillar pagoda, first built in 1049 by the Emperor Ly Thai Tong, who ruled from 1028 to 1054. Constructed of wood on a single stone pillar, it was designed to resemble a lotus blossom in the honor of Buddha.
Then, we will visit Quan Thanh Temple, one of the “Thang Long Tu Tran” and an important historical and cultural place in Hanoi. There is the giant black bronze statue of Huyen Thien Tran Vu there.
Have lunch at restaurant.
Continue to visit Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, a research center and public museum, represent comprehensively the different culture of a multi-ethnic country. After that, go to Van Temple of Literature and Quoc Tu Giam – Vietnam’s first University, constructed in 1070.
Then, visit Ngocson temple on the isle in the middle of the Restored Sword Lake, the petit lake in the heart of the city, where legends grow thicker than water lilies .And you can walk around Old Quarter on foot, through narrow roads and corner interlacing together for shopping and street photography.
In the evening, enjoy the Water puppet show; a remarkable indigenous folk performance art form unique to Vietnam (with your own expense)
